ABB?s DriveWindow is a simple to use software tool designed and created to support a motor drives life cycle from start-up and monitoring, to backup, and performance tuning. DriveWindow is designed for use with ABB?s low and medium voltage industrial drives including the ACS600 and ACS800, DCS600, 800 and the ACS1000 and ACS6000.

The tool provides the capabilities to view, edit, and set drive parameters, as well as advanced functions like drive backup and data logger views that can be used throughout the life cycle of the drive. DriveWindow is used to configure drive parameters during drive commissioning and these parameter configuration files can be saved and then utilised to commission new drives or kept as backups.

DriveWindow provides a complete listing of the drive parameters and their corresponding values allowing users to view and edit individual parameters. Using the built-in data and fault loggers, you can monitor signals and the real-time status of the drive. This data can be used for graphical trending of the drive?s performance.
