Electropneumatic Positioner for Linear and Part-turn Actuators
SIPART PS2 smart electropneumatic positioner for pneumatic linear and part-turn actuators. The electropneumatic positioner forms a control system in connection with an actuator. Single action, with PROFIBUS-PA operation, M20x1.5 connection and a G1/4 pneumatic connection. All contained in a durable and robust polycarbonate enclosure.
The electropneumatic positioner moves the actuator to a valve position corresponding to the setpoint. Additional function inputs can be used to block the valve or to set a safety position. Simple to install with automatic commissioning (self-adjustment of zero and span), local operation and configuration of the positioner using 3 built-in buttons and a user friendly 2 line LCD. Very high-quality control thanks to an online adaption process and negligible air consumption in stationary operation. Featuring extensive diagnostic functions for both valves and actuators and with few moving parts this device is insensitive to vibrations.
The electropneumatic positioner is used for the continuous control of process valves with pneumatic drives in range of industries including chemical production, oil and gas, energy production, food and beverages, pharmaceutical industry, Offshore plants and much more.
