SINAMICS G120 Basic Operator Panel (BOP-2) Operating unit for the SINAMICS frequency converters Basic Operator Panel (BOP-2) for the SINAMICS G120P frequency converter. With the BOP-2 Basic Operator Panel, drives can be commissioned, operation monitored, and individual parameter settings can be made. Commissioning standard operations is made easy by the menu guidance on a 2-line display. With simultaneous display of a parameter and its parameter value and parameter filtering, basic commissioning of a drive can be performed conveniently and, in most cases, without a printed parameter list. A further advantage is that the manual control of drives is easily performed using directly assigned navigation keys. In this case, the BOP-2 provides its own switchover key for switchover from automatic to manual operation. Diagnostics of the connected frequency converter can be performed via direct menu guidance and, at the same time, up to two process values are visualized numerically. The BOP-2 also supports series commissioning of identical drives. For this purpose, a parameter list can be copied from a frequency converter into the BOP-2 and loaded into devices of the same type when required. To summarize the advantages, this means that commissioning times can be shortened and downtimes minimized, there is more transparency in the process, it can be mounted directly on a control unit, and an easy-to-use operator interface is provided. With the optional door mounting kit, a BOP-2 can be simply mounted in a cabinet door in just a few steps (not possible with the PM230 Power Module degree of protection IP55). Door mounting provides degree of protection IP55.
