This high speed, square bodied, 280 Amp, 1200VAC Protistor fuse-link offers maximum flexibility in equipment design providing superb protection for modern power conversion equipment. This size 70 aR ultra-fast fuse, with flush ends, has been designed to provide protection for semiconductors, diodes, thyristors, GTO's and IGBT devices.

Constructed with pure silver, with die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand to help control arcing characteristics for a lower I2t and high interrupting rating level. All contact surfaces are silver plated, and all hardware is non-magnetic.

Suitable applications for square bodied fuses include the protection of inverters, motor drives, UPS systems and similar 690V or less equipment. This fuse-link can be equipped with an optional low voltage trip-indicator which can operate a field mountable microswitch.
