The TIS 1000 has been designed to test UK BS1363, 230V 13A sockets to international standards 1010-1, CAT II 600V in one easy and straight forward step. All you need to do to test your 13A UK power socket is to simply plug in your TIS 1000 for both a visual and audible indication. Durable and hardwearing and simplicity itself to use, wiring conditions are displayed via the built in LEDS and an audible tone these are: correct, missing earth, live earth reverse, live neutral and missing neutral. No batteries or maintenance are required, but please note that the TIS 1000 UK Power Socket Tester does not test or indicate for a neutral/earth reversal situation.
