This capable UM30 series, M30x1.5 mm cylindrical bodied ultrasonic sensor provides measurement and detection functionality in a wide variety of application. Designed to target natural objects within an operating range of 600- 8000 mm. Adverse ambient conditions such as dust, dirt, or fog barely affect the measured result.

The high measurement accuracy of this ultrasonic sensor provided by internal temperature compensation, immunity to contamination, and a wide operating temperature range up to 70 °C ensures reliable operation. ObSB mode enables detection of any object between the sensor and a taught-in background.

Featuring teach-in of switching output, scaling of switching outputs, invertible switching output, set on delay switching output, temperature compensation, synchronisation of up to 10 sensors, multiplexing.

No cross talk of up to 50 sensors Typical Industrial Applications Include level regulation for liquids and bulk materials, detection, measurement and positioning of natural materials, collision avoidance.
